Since Fall is right around the corner, I was thinking about all the things I am going to miss about Summer!!!!

spending full days with my kids
not having to pack lunches
no stress
grocery shopping during the week instead of a weekend
laying out by the pool
not having to pick out clothes for the next day
no schedules
etc, etc, etc

Man, summer went WAY too fast! I love teaching, but man do I love my summers!!!

This weekend was my 33rd birthday! I had such a great weekend with family and friends. Friday night Travis took me out to Jasper's in Plano for some YUMMY food! Mandy and Craig joined us for dinner, and then we all went to The Gingerman afterwards.

On Saturday, some of my girlfriends took me to Teddy's Room in Uptown for a fun night out.

I am sooooo thankful for my wonderful friends and family who have made my birthday extra special!

Today my team and I went to visit our teammate Amber. She had her sweet baby boy Luca yesterday. It was so good to visit with her. Unfortunately, I have a cold, so I didn't get to hold the sweet baby. We are all so happy for the Reading family! Congrats!!!!!

PS.....she had the best delivery! She was only in labor for 2 1/2 hours and only pushed for 10 minutes! LUCKY girl!

Dallas Cowboys Cheerleader Camp

It's that time again....DCC camp! Brooklyn loves coming to this camp to see all of the cheerleaders. She spent the day learning a cheer, and two dances. There is no way I could learn that much in one day! Oh, and Blake had a little fun in the Pro Shop! He was making his own jersey, and he bought a new flat bill Cowboys hat.

Baby Bunnies

Yesterday we saw the cutest baby bunnies in Travis' yard. He was mowing the yard and looked down and saw this sweet baby. We played with it and brought it in the house for a while. The mom was no where to be found. We later found the hole it had come from and there was another baby in there. They are the most precious things ever. We now are watching over them to keep them safe....unfortunately we have found several this summer in his pool :( so we want to make sure these stay safe!!!!

Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

We had the most amazing trip to Punta Cana! We were all there to celebrate Travis and Jason's 40th birthday. We were able to go with 5 couples total, and meet so many people there that joined our group to hang out. AND I got engaged!!!!!!!!!!!! We stayed at resort called Paradisus Punta Cana, which was the most amazing resort! We had so much fun laying out on the beach, going to the pool, dressing up each night to go to great restaurants, and dancing all night long at the disco. We did so many excursions such as speed boats, a catamaran, parasailing, and swimming with sharks and sting rays. The boys even had lots of fun at the casino too. FUN, FUN, FUN!

Travis is such an amazing guy. He went to such detail and thought to make the proposal magical. He didn't tell anyone on the trip that he was going to propose, so we were all so surprised! He picked out the ring completely on his own. I had NO idea! He did an amazing job, because I absolutely LOVE it. It is so much better than anything I would have ever picked out! He even carried it on the plane and had it in his pocket the whole time. I am such a lucky girl!

This song played everywhere in Punta Cana. I heard it so much that it grew on me, and now I love it! When it would come on at the disco, everyone would crowd the dance floor. Now when I hear it, it brings back great memories from the trip. We had such a great time!

One of my favorite places on Earth! Our family camp in Arkansas is a great place to come each summer to relax and spend time with our extended family. My grandmother, mother, myself, and now my kids all have been going since being small children. I have such great memories growing up here. I am so glad to share new memories with my children here. There is nothing better than to relax and hear stories my grandmother tells of when she came as a child. Most people look at it as a place that is about to fall down, but we all see it as a family jewel. We are already planning the big reunion next year! "Camp Welton we love you............."

My beautiful cousin Stephanie got married on Saturday in Norman, Oklahoma to the love of her life. It was in the most beautiful little chapel. The chapel was covered in windows overlooking the most gorgeous trees and scenery. She looked amazing! Her brother, Jared, played a song on the guitar during the ceremony.

Jennifer's Baby Shower

Dallas Cowboys Practice

Saturday we went to watch the Dallas Cowboys practice at the Cowboys new stadium. You could buy tickets for this event and tour the stadium. So Mandy and Craig, the kids, Travis, and I decided to go. We walked around a little bit, but spent most of our time watching the boys practice. It was really neat to see how a practice is run. Man, they really have it organized well! It was so cool to see my favorites, Tony Romo and Miles Austin up close. We got to sit on the sidelines to watch the practice. What an experience!!!

This is definitely one of my favorite pictures! HA HA! I did get a big smile on my face though when they were warming up right in front of me......and bending over! :)

AirHogs Game

Friday night Mandy and I took the kids to the Grand Prairie AirHogs game. They are a minor league baseball team, who has a brand new stadium. One of the middle school teachers in Irving threw the first pitch out. It helped benefit ISF....which we love! It definitely was not a packed house by any means (as you can tell in the pictures), but what a fun night it was to watch baseball and eat peanuts, nachos, hot dogs, and giant pretzels....YUM! Good times!

Powerhouse Dance Recital 2010

Brooklyn had her dance recital at the end of May this year. She works so hard all year to learn several routines and techniques. I love this day because she loves to showcase herself on stage. There is nothing like seeing your baby girl on stage with the biggest smile on her face and seeing her strut her stuff. She had her rehearsal on Saturday, and then the big recital show was on Sunday. We LOVE her dance studio! The teachers are amazing! We have to drive in to Dallas to take class there, but it is so worth it!

Lakeside End of Year Partaaaay!

Today was Lakeside's annual end of year swim party. It is always so fun for the kids to get to swim with all of their friends. We are all so excited that summer starts at 12:30 tomorrow afternoon! YEA! I can not believe I will have a 1st and 5th grader. That is just sooooooo crazy! This year was a great year for all of us. It is sad to see it end, but we are so happy to relax and hang out this summer!

One word: FABULOUS! I was lucky enough to get invited to a private evening premiere of Sex and The City 2 before it came out to the general public. I can not tell you how excited I was to get to see this movie! My new favorite word is "interfriention". When you see the movie, you will understand. You have to go see it! I definitely give it two thumbs up!

The kids and I have the pleasure of watching the sweetest dog! Her name is Mattie, and she belongs to my sister's boyfriend, Craig. This is probably one of the best, well mannered dogs I have seen! We are already attached to her. We get her for 2 whole weeks, and couldn't be happier!

Blake's football season ended, and they came in third place out of all of the teams. They did great! I am so proud of him. Next Fall we are going back to tackle, which is tons more rough, but Blake is ready. He is such a good athlete! I absolutely love watching him play sports. I think I live vicariously through him because I was never the best athlete.

So you might be wondering what in the world these two people have in common, huh? Well, Debbie Gibson was huge when I was growing up. I loved listening to her record over, and over, and over again. I had the words memorized to EVERY song. And then there is the new hit singer, Justin Bieber, who everyone seems to love. WELL, Blake and I were listening to Justin in the car the other day, and he asked, "Mom, why is every song by Justin about girls?". I started to laugh because I totally understood where he was coming from. I remember asking my mom when I was his age the VERY same question, "Mom, why is every song by Debbie Gibson about boys?" I really didn't understand why every single song she sang had to be about a boy, and being in love, etc. So to hear my son ask the same question, brought back a lot of memories, and made me smile. One day he will understand!! :) :) :)

Brooklyn had her Kindergarten Fairy Tale Ball for the school, and it was PRECIOUS! They sang and danced to several songs. They performed and then headed to take class pictures and have a royal feast. I went on a little online shopping spree on BarnesandNoble.com. My wonderful class got me TONS of gift certificates there, so I went online and started shopping around. I got a few books, and I am pretty excited! I love getting little packages in the mail, so I am already on the lookout for the UPS man to drive up! FUN!

I have been wanting this cookbook for a LONG time!!! This comes at a perfect time though. I am ready to learn some yummy new recipes this summer! MMMMM!!!

This book I saw on a blog that I frequent. It is an inspirational book about what to do when God doesn't show up the way you thought He would. I am super excited to read this! I love heart warming, real life books with a message. This one will be a good one to read on the beach this summer...

Mother's Day

I had a WONDERFUL Mother's Day!!!! I spent the morning hanging out with my kids, Travis, and my dad. We had a yummy lunch at IHop. We then rested at home for a little while before going to dinner at I Fratelli's with my mom and our entire family. We sat in the private area so we could celebrate my grandmother's 91st birthday, while celebrating all the wonderful mothers in my family. I absolutely LOVE hanging out with my family.

My kids are the sweetest! Blake made me breakfast in bed, and Brooklyn made me 5 different gifts at school. My super sweet boyfriend bought me the most beautiful romper/jumpsuit ever! He even picked it out all by himself.....LOVE THAT!!!! Here is a picture of it, except mine is black and sleeveless.

Soccer Party @ Tappy's

Tonight was our end of season party for the Swiper's. We met up at Tappy's Yogurt for a yummy treat! We learned last season NOT to have it at CiCi's anymore.....WAY too crowded when everyone is doing their parties there too. The girls got their trophies, and had a blast hanging out. AND yes, we will be back for another season. Somehow, we are going to try to make soccer, dance, and gymnastics all work out, as well as all of Blake's sports too. How? I am not sure yet. I will keep you updated on that in the Fall.....

Kindergarten FUN

The chicks have hatched!

Part of kindergarten's curriculum is to learn about about the life cycle of a chick, so they get to actually see eggs hatch into little chicks. Right now there are 13 that have hatched. The three above are the first born chicks. This is a pretty neat experience for the kids. I hear about these chicks every day when we get home. After they are finished learning all about them, they will be sent to a farm where they will be raised.

This was another day when Brooklyn actually got to hold a chick. She wanted to hold the token yellow chick. All of the other chicks are dark colored.

It's Finally Open!!!

Six Flags Fun

Friday was our annual trip to Six Flags to help support Children's Medical Center. I always love going on this night because the park is closed to the public for this private party. Well luckily for Children's Medical Center, it was much more packed this year. They were able to sell lots of tickets this year, but that meant the lines were longer! We still had a blast. This year we went with our great friends, the Todd family.

Texas Stadium Implosion

Today is a sad day! Texas Stadium is gone! It was such a big part of my childhood growing up in Irving. I have so many wonderful memories from that place, from attending concerts, high school football games, and Dallas Cowboys games, etc, etc!!!!!! I even used to work there with my church youth group growing up. I drove by the stadium almost every day. It is going to be so weird driving by there now!

I couldn't sleep last night, and kept waking up from having lots of dreams about Texas Stadium last night. I woke up about 4:30 this morning, and then started getting texts from my sister about 4:50, and from then on, I was up waiting anxiously to watch the coverage on TV. It was amazing to see. It even made me tear up a little when they were playing music to the fireworks and then to the actual implosion.

Luckily, my sister got two VIP media passes to the big tent they had set up. She was so sweet to take Blake as her guest. I can not tell you how excited he was to get to go. He talked about it for days leading up to it. What an experience both of them will remember FOREVER!

Revels 2010

Saturday was Revels in Kilgore for the Rangerettes. Mandy and Mom took little Miss Priss with them. They met my aunt and cousin out there too. This is a yearly tradition, so this was by far not her first visit. We are prepping her to be a future Rangerette. She is actually going to Rangerette camp this summer! They had a great visit, and saw a great show! Brooklyn can't wait until next year!

The Circus Spectacular

My sweet friend Amber, who I teach with, gave us tickets to the Circus Spectacular at the Dallas Stars Center in Frisco. We met Danielle, Jason, and Jaden there to watch the fun! It was a mini Barnum and Bailey circus show. We all had a great time. Blake and Brooklyn got to ride an elephant before the show started, and Brooklyn got to ride a pony during the intermission. We ended the night with a visit to Double Dip (my absolute FAVORITE place!!!!!) for some custard. What a great day!!!!!

Football Kickoff

Friday night was the football kickoff for flag football. They introduced each team and the teams all got to do a touchdown dance on the stage. Guess who the main dancer was for Blake's team? YEP, Blake, of course. He got up there and shook his tailfeather! I was cracking up. I have to say I was a little pleased! Those dance parties are paying off. Former Dallas Cowboy player Marco Rivera was also there to give the boys a pep talk to start the season off great. At the end of his speech, Marco gave his jersey to Taylor Storch's little brother, who also plays flag football. It was such a sweet moment! My heart still aches for that family!

We are off and running with the football season. I didn't get any pictures from the first game on Saturday, but Blake did catch a touchdown pass to make the first touchdown of the season for his team. Gotta love having an athletic son!

So I took my sweet baby girl to the dentist last week because she has her two bottom front teeth coming in, and her baby teeth are not even wiggly. They just seemed to be coming in so far back, that it concerned me, and I made a dentist appointment right away. WELL, the dreaded news I was hoping wouldn't come, came! The dentist said we need to pull those TWO baby teeth out because the new ones aren't even touching the baby ones. You have to have the new teeth touch the baby teeth to make them loose. So, I made that dreaded appointment for THIS Thursday. Prayers, please! This will NOT be fun...especially since they told me they numb her the old fashion way....with shots! EEEEEKKK! I think I am going to cry harder than her!

Meet "Trixie". As the kids and I were taking our walk, we see this dog running down the street with no one following her. We called her over, and she was very skiddish at first. We looked for tags, and the only tag on her is one that says she was spayed and neutered at VCA. I tried to call the number on that, but only got a recording. So, we managed to get her to our house and give her some water. We went back out a little later to try to see if anyone was looking or calling for her.....and NOTHING! SO, looks like we are having a little slumber party tonight. I just don't have the heart to take her to the shelter. We made up signs that we are going to post on all the community mailboxes tomorrow. I hope we find her owner. She is a super sweet dog that minds very well, so I know her family is looking for her, and probably heart-broken as we speak. She is definitely in good hands! As you can see from the picture, she has made herself comfortable on the bed.....UH OH! The kids have already named her Trixie! Let's see how tonight goes! :) I will keep ya posted!

Yep, I gave in, but I am SO excited about it! I already saw the weeds starting to come up in my yard, and I am bound and determined not to spend my spring and summer pulling weeds! Pulling weeds could be the death of me! So, I caved in and called Tru Green to take care of it for me for the year! I think this will be a great investment! And I do have to say that when I got home and saw the little sign in my yard, I was sooooo happy! Let the treatments begin!

Blake had his 4th Grade recorder performance yesterday. They performed in the morning for the entire school, and then they performed for all the parents. Blake wasn't completely thrilled to be playing the recorder, but this is a 4th grade tradition. He did get to do what he does best....dance! They did the Crocodile Rock, so he didn't mind that part! He did great! I was so proud of him.

Yes, it is true! Blake got his first official LOVE NOTE! Actually I got it! Here's the story: Blake has had little crushes on girls before, but not until this year has he come out and said that he likes a specific girl. I'm thinking he must really like her to be telling ME that he likes her. Then today at school I saw her at the bathrooms, and she was telling her friend how I am Blake's mom....I overheard them saying it. She was acting all silly and everything. Next thing I know, at the end of the day, she comes by my classroom and then leaves real quick. I can hear her friends say "Just give it to Ms. Anderson". Then one of her friends comes in and said Kalei has been telling her to give me this note for a long time. Then they all ran down the hall so fast! SOOOOOO cute! I love it! I kinda got excited when I saw it because I always hear Blake talking about her, and now I know she likes him too! AWWWWW, young love!

As each day passes, I am so thankful for what I have, and the people who surround me each day and mold me into the person I am today!

GOD - I truly believe I would be nothing without my faith! HE has given me so many blessings, and I know I can always call on Him when I need Him!

Mom - the one who taught me everything I know. What a strong woman! She loves me no matter what, and has been there for me every step of the way.

Dad - such a free spirit. I think I got a lot of his qualities. He loves me now more than ever, and I am so thankful for that.

Mandy - my beautiful sister, and best friend! Words can not express the connection I have with her....AMAZING! I love her to pieces!

Blake - this boy is so amazing! He has a heart of gold, and wears it on his sleeve. He teaches me love, and how to be an amazing mother. He shows me each and every day that he loves me unconditionally, and my heart completely melts! AND he has the best sense of humor....he cracks me up! I can not wait to see him grow up and see where life takes him. I know it will lead him on a pretty awesome adventure.

Brooklyn - Oh, what a beautiful little girl, with an amazing personality and zest for life. She has to be the happiest person on earth. She teaches me to live life in the moment, and not be afraid to take chances. She will put her mind to something and make it happen. I know she will go far in life and become something big!

G-Mom - what a spit-fire she is! So witty and has a comeback for almost anything you say. She has taught me the love and importance of a family.

Jean - my sweet grandmother, who loved us from the moment she met us, and who took us in as her own. I miss her everyday since she moved to Ohio.

Travis - he loves me and my stubborn self. He spoils me rotten, and loves my kids! He will even sit through all my cheesy TV shows just to spend time with me.

Bailey and Dallas - yes, even these two little rugrats! My 'brother" and "nephew" who mean so much to my mom and Mandy.

So the snow day continues with record breaking snow in the Big D since 1978. This was great snow too....so fluffy! I thnk we made the biggest snowman in the neighborhood (thanks to a Minnesota boy!). We have been playing non-stop in the snow since we got home from school yesterday until this afternoon (except for coming in at 9:00 last night). We have been changing and washing wet clothes several times to stay warm. What a BLAST we have had!

It started snowing last night at midnight, so when we woke up, we had TONS of snow on the ground. Now to some, it wouldn't be TONS, but for Texas, this is a lot! Definitely more than we have had all Winter, and it has been a snowy season for us this year. I got the kids up about 6:30(because we still had school) and let them get dressed and play in it before school! I snapped a few pictures. It was still dark outside, so you can't see all of the snow. Super Bowl 2010

Travis had his annual Super Bowl party, and it was a blast. I am so happy that New Orleans won!!!! Go Saints!!! Last night was a fabulous night for me because my sister and I beat the champions at beer pong, I won the final pot in squares, and the Saints won! What a GREAT night! Nothing like good times with great friends.

I am beyond excited about my cousin Jon and his sweet family moving back to Texas. As much as I hate to say that I am losing a connection in Miami, I am super excited that we get to watch Cristian and Gabby grow up. My kids are turning into fish! All summer they have been swimming with me, or going to the lake with their dad. I am pretty jealous of their nice little tans they have gotten. Yesterday we went swimming with our wonderful friend Danielle and her sweet baby boy Jaden.

Then we headed to Double Dip for some YUMMY custard. I can't get enough of this place. They should dedicate a table in my honor since I am there so much. MMMMMM.....good stuff!

Cowboy Stadium

This afternoon my sister took myself and my kids along with her on a very VIP tour of the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. Let me first start off by saying this place was A-MAZ-ING!!!!! We were all like little kids in a candy shop. Mandy got an invitation for a private tour that started off with appetizers and an open bar.....FABULOUS! We ended up just giving ourselves a tour, which turned out to be much better than having someone take us around, because we went into rooms and places that we probably weren't allowed to go. OH WELL! I think the best part was finding the Cowboy's locker room! They haven't finished it all yet, so Blake decided to take a piece of the locker room carpet home. LOVE IT! He was cracking us up the whole time. He is a sneaky little one! They are having the American Idol audition there starting tomorrow morning, so we saw where they are holding all of the auditions. That was pretty neat too. Before our tour, we got to meet Stephen Jones....Jerry Jones son! Blake really wanted to ask him for season tickets. Wouldn't that have been the best. I am attaching tons of pictures. The stadium is not completely finished, but we had the best time touring it!

So, two weeks ago the kids went to vacation bible school. They had a great time learning about God and singing His praises. They made some really great crafts too! I love that they love to go to church and worship God! On the last day of VBS, they did a performance for all the parents. They sang all the songs they had learned all week. We even got a CD with the songs, and we still have to listen to it constantly. I love it though. I even sing along with them now!

Finding Treasures

On Monday we spent the day at Lee Lee's. She had just come back from a cruise to the Bahamas with her sisters and mother. She brought all kinds of treasures home for the kids. They always love going to Lee Lee's house after she comes back from a trip, because they know she always brings goodies for them. One thing she had saved for them from a previous trip to North Carolina, was a bag of seashore mine sand. It is a bag full of sand and hidden treasures like seashells, shark teeth, and sea glass. The kids had a blast finding all of the hidden treasures. Thanks Lee Lee for all the goodies!!!

Last Saturday and Sunday Brooklyn had her dance rehearsal and recital at the Majestic Theatre in downtown Dallas. I absolutely LOVE seeing her dance, but I tell you what....those moms will push and shove to get the best seats! I feel like I need to take something for anxiety before I get there. That place is crazy! But of course Brooklyn completely ROCKED and did awesome! She is so full of life and loves to dance. That girl can really shake her hips. She cracks me up! I signed her up for jazz and hip hop next year, so we will see how well she can get down at the next recital. Should be interesting! :)

Last Friday was Brooklyn's Pre-K graduation at her school. She was soooo happy! I can't believe she has graduated and will be in Kindergarten next year! Don't get me wrong, I am ready for that nice pay raise, but it is so hard to believe it is already here. The teacher was telling me beforehand that she wanted a kid who was not shy, and had a loud voice to get the graduation started by welcoming all the parents. Well guess who she thought was just perfect for the part....none other than little Ms. Brooklyn herself! Go figure! She did great and I am so proud of her! I love you bunches little munchkin!!! You will always be Mommy's little girl!

Last Wednesday, I took the kids to meet my dad at Lake Lewisville. My sister also ended up meeting us there. We had a great time visiting and cooking out hotdogs. We saw lots of geese, rabbits, and even a snake....which Blake was quite obsessed with checking out! Everyone got to feed the geese. My dad was brave enough to feed them with the food in his mouth...YIKES! We ended up going to the playground that was there, and we all raced to see who could do an obstical course the fastest. I have to say I came in first, well until Blake had to try one more time, and then he beat my score. I adore moments like these when you can spend time with family!!!!

This weekend, my little cousin Jared got married in Oklahoma. He and his new bride Ginny have the most precious son, Cadyn, who was in the wedding. He is such a little ham! Ginny and Jared have been together for 6 years, so this wedding was a long time coming. They make a beautiful little family. I was so excited to see them get married. Today was a great day! My wonderful mother kept my kids last night...on very short notice...so I could hang out with some of my best friends and sleep in this morning. Thanks Mom! That was a treat in itself. I got up and headed over to my mom's house and then to church. After church we changed clothes and headed to the Dallas Arboretum for a day of family and fun. Several of my family members came, so it was a really great time! I enjoyed spending the day with all of the mommies in my family. We had a picnic lunch at the Arboretum and spent the day taking lots of pictures. Happy Mother's Day to all the special Mommies I love!

On Saturday, I was having a little fun of my own. I went with some great friends to the Jimmy Buffett concert at Pizza Hut Park in Frisco. We got there about 1:00 and were tailgating all the way up to 7:30 when the concert started. This was my first Jimmy Buffett experience, and I have to say that it was one of the best times I have ever had! I think the tailgating is actually the best part, and the concert was just icing on the cake. I have never seen so many people having a good time. I LOVED it! Sweet Aunt Mandy, Mom, Emily, my aunt Dodo, and Brooklyn all went to Kilgore for their annual trip to see Revels. This is literally their umpteenth year to go. They left early Saturday morning and stopped by my other aunts house, Sue, in Longview, where they stayed for the night. They even got to visit with Kim, Anna, and Jack on Sunday. On Friday, I took the plunge and got LASIK eye surgery! Yowza! What a big deal for me! I remember thinking I would NEVER get LASIK, I mean those are my eyes you are messing with! Then one day I got pink eye and had to wear my glasses for a few days. That is all it took for me to decide I wanted to get this surgery. Right now, I am having to put tons of drops in my eyes, but so far I can see great without glasses and contacts. I have already realized this was money well spent! Happy Easter to me!

PS. Like the goggles I have to wear when I go outside for the next SEVEN days!!! :)

Fox 4 News

Today, Evan Andrews from Fox 4 News came to talk to all the 2nd graders about weather. I was so excited to see him in person. I have to say that he has a great personality and is pretty cute too. :) He showed us a video he made around the set of Fox News to show us where he works all day and all the computers he uses. It was really neat to see "behind the scenes". He took some footage of us saying "Have you had a good day lately", since he is on the morning news show called Good Day. This past weekend was Crystal's shower. She has been my best friend since junior high school. I absolutely love this girl. So, when she called to tell me she was pregnant, I was sooooo excited! They are not going to find out the sex of the baby, which is driving me CRAZY! I am dying to know if that precious little baby is a boy or a girl! She is due July 7th, and I can't wait for that special phone call from Nick! I loved you Coop!

This was a special gift from Nick's mom. She had this gift wrapped for at least 30 years, and has been saving it for this special day. Unfortunately she passed away before getting to give it to Nick and Crystal, but Nick's sister presented it to them. It was a very sentimental moment!

Flag Football

Blake decided he wanted to try out flag football this season, so we signed him up through the YMCA and he got put on a team with lots of his buddies. They had their first game on Saturday, and they ended up tying the game 6 to 6. It was neat to get to see him play football in a different way than he is used to with tackle football. Blake absolutely loves playing, and I must say, he is pretty good!!!!

Six Flags

My sister Mandy is on the Axillary board for Children's Medical Center, and they were having a private party at Six Flags of Texas, so she got tickets for my kiddos, me, her, and my mom. This is now becoming a yearly tradition. They went without me last year. I can't even remember what I had going on, but let me tell you that I will never miss again. We had the BEST time! And I must say we were very spoiled because there were hardly any lines!!! Blake and I would ride a ride, and immediately do it again because no one was in line. I think though, that I am just too old to be riding some of those rides I used to love growing up. Blake wanted to ride all the big rides, but I had to limit him to just a few of them because I knew I couldn't handle them. Yes, sad I know! Blake, Mandy, and I rode the Bobsled when we first got there, then it was on to much bigger rides like the Shockwave, the classic Judge Roy Scream, Aquaman (which Blake did by himself and got completely soaked!), the Cave ride, and the scary Titan! Wow! Brooklyn got to ride a bunch of rides in the Looney Toon section. She was in heaven. We all had a blast and can't wait for next year!!!!

We got inside the park and guess who we say?!?! Mr. Six (so they call him)...the official man of Six Flags. Ha! I had to take my picture with him!
