It's the little things in life.....

• kisses on the forehead
• the cool side of the pillow
• sun shivers
• laughing so hard it hurts
• fresh, clean sheets
• an abundance of Christmas cards in the mailbox
• tights with UGGS
• patio lunches
• snuggling with my kids
• puppy breath
• new baby smell
• being in bed during thunderstorms
• sunsets
• the first time you hear the sound of the beach on vacation
• singing loudly in the car
• good hair days
• freshly cut grass

Super Bowl 2010

Travis had his annual Super Bowl party, and it was a blast. I am so happy that New Orleans won!!!! Go Saints!!! Last night was a fabulous night for me because my sister and I beat the champions at beer pong, I won the final pot in squares, and the Saints won! What a GREAT night! Nothing like good times with great friends.

Kindergarten Dalmation Day

To celebrate the 101st day of school, Kindergarten had a 1o1 Dalmation day. They all dressed up like Dalmations and did lots of fun activities throughout the day. Here is a video of the parade they had Friday morning. (Brooklyn is in the third class, and the third kid in line.)

I know you are just dying to know all about me! In my weekly US magazine, they highlight a certain celebrity by having them state "25 things you don't know about me". So, I decided to make my own. So here goes (in no particular order)........

1. I can not live without XM radio
2. I absolutely love to dance. I will dance anywhere and everywhere
3. I am still a little obsessed with Justin Timberlake....such a hot mess!
4. I can not get enough reality TV
5. I get major anxiety if I am late
6. I love my vino...especially after a long day
7. Reese Witherspoon is my favorite celebrity. Sounds weird, but our lives have paralleled each other.
8. I love tax season.....woo hoo, extra cash!
9. My boyfriend spoils me like crazy
10. I have always wanted to learn to play the piano. I guess it is never too late
11. I have the biggest sweet tooth
12. I will admit it, I blog stalk.....SHHHHHH!
13. I can not ever teach in a classroom without a sink and personal bathroom ever again. How did I ever manage without them!?!?!
14. If there is one thing that freaks me out, it is mice!
15. My pet peeve is hearing people brush their teeth
16. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my fabulous cowboy boots, and I never thought I would ever say that!
17. I think everyone should give to charity or volunteer their time
18. I am a sucker, or should I say sucka for rap and hip hop music

Welcome Home Ross Family

I am beyond excited about my cousin Jon and his sweet family moving back to Texas. As much as I hate to say that I am losing a connection in Miami, I am super excited that we get to watch Cristian and Gabby grow up. Cristian is such a juicy little ham, and Gabby is a precious little angel. We had a get together the other day at my aunt's house to have pizza and visit with everyone. Did I say how excited I am that they moved back?!?!?!? :)
